About ABCs of Quilting

ABCs of Quilting is a complete-service quilt shop. We offer the highest quality quilt shop fabrics, quilt notions and custom long-arm quilting services. We also have a huge selection of quilting supplies, quilting patterns, quilting kits, quilting books and even complete ready-made quilts for sale.

ABCs of Quilting has been in business for eight years.  We are located in the heart of Grand Rapids in the Historic Old Central School Building. Our quilt fabric store is operated by Linda and Susan who bring a wealth of experience and love of quilting to the shop. And, since their color choices are vastly different, they provide every color of the rainbow for you to enjoy!

Shop online at Fabrics for quilt fabric; Charm Packs, Jelly Rolls & More for fat quarters, jelly rolls, charm packs and complete quilt tops; and Kits for ready to quilt kits.

The store is constantly busy with activity. You will find many quilts on display (most have kits available) and over 3,500 bolts of fabric that are "Quilt Shop Only" quality. We also have a great selection of quilting books, quilt patterns, quilt notions and quilt kits. Our classroom is always a busy place, either with clubs and classes that apply to all levels (beginners to advanced applique artists) or with quilters working on one of their UFOs. Our Design Studio, complete with long arm quilting machine, provides custom quilting services. We would love to have you come in and just sew with us.

We would love to have you visit us when you are in Northern Minnesota. We are open Mondays through Saturdays from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM and Sundays from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The shop is also open later when there are clubs or classes in session. Please call for evening hours.
